With a gentle beat on the drum, Old Pete Chasing Horse, known as Grandpa, begins the legend of Eagle Boy. Grandpa (August Schellenberg) is the storyteller of the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. Now, late in his life, he must pass on the tradition of storytelling to the next generation. Someone must learn the legends and tell them to others, or the stories will lose their power.
